And this was clearly reflected at the Biotech Business Brunch, co-hosted by HEPA and the Hungarian Biotechnology Association (HBA), which offered compelling evidence of a sector gaining strategic traction.

Hungary’s biotech ecosystem is rich in scientific excellence, clinical capacity and highly skilled STEM talent. But unlocking global impact requires more than innovation, it demands international visibility, partnerships and export readiness.
That’s exactly what today’s event focused on: connecting 11 pioneering Hungarian biotech companies with the tools, networks and strategic insights needed to scale globally. From molecular diagnostics to therapeutic innovation, the diversity and depth of expertise present was a clear signal that Hungary is set to lead.📈
