Description
A dynamically developing SME SeqOmics Biotechnology Ltd. was founded in 2009 and is owned by two established Hungarian molecular biologists. The company was founded with the primary goal of being one of the first in Central and Eastern Europe to introduce sequencing services on Next Generation Sequencing (NGS) systems, which are considered state-of-the-art in genomics.
In addition to having a comprehensive sequencing and bioinformatics portfolio, at our modern locations in Mórahalom and Szeged SeqOmics has current microbiology, cell and molecular biology as well as medical imaging facilities. All of this made it possible for the company to launch diagnostic services in the following areas in addition to unique, sequencing-based research and development projects:
Veterinary genetic diagnostics (laboratory authorized by NÉBIH)
Food safety (laboratory authorized by NÉBIH and accredited by NAH)
Human health service (services authorized by the Government Office)
