RecomGenex Ltd. provides a range of services from cloning, expression and purification of proteins through mutant protein design to protein renaturation capabilities. Commercially, RecomGenex offers clients ‘off the shelf’ services and collaborative development.

RecomGenex has developed its XpressXpert™ technology, which will take the customer from a DNA sequence all the way to a purified recombinant protein. It uses technologies for recombinant protein expression in prokaryotic, baculovirus and mammalian expression systems and purification. The RefoldAllTM service focuses on the production of “problematic” proteins using unequalled protein renaturation procedures, to increase the number of proteins capable of being expressed in cost effective, high yield bacterial expression systems.

RecomGenex was jointly established by ComGenex, an integrated drug discovery chemistry provider. The proteomics facilities at RecomGenex complement the chemical services of ComGenex and thus provide a comprehensive technology in drug discovery.
